Primary research - Demographic questions analysis

This section will analyse the demographics of the participants. Also, it contains information about the participants such as gender, age range, continent of origin and the importance of artificial intelligence to their field of study.

This chart above shows the percentage of each gender. It is important to get opinions from both genders, however, there are not that many females in my class. The objective was to send the questionnaire to females outside of class in order to balance out both genders. It can be seen 61.9% (13) of the participants were males while the remaining 38.1% (8) were females.

The above chart shows the age ranges of the participants of the survey. It can be seen that 52% (11) are between the ages of 18-24, 33% (7) are between the ages of 25-30, 9.5% (2) are 30+, and the remaining 4.8% (1) is under 18.

This next chart above indicates the different regions the partakers of the questionnaire are from. 33.3% (7) were from Africa, 28.6% (6) from Europe, 19% (4) from Asia, and 19% (4) from North America.

The final chart shows the relevance of Artificial intelligence to the field of study of the participants. 71% (15) of the people say 'yes', 14% (3) were not sure and said 'maybe', and the remaining 14% (3) said 'no'.
